It Ends Today

Are you wondering whether the training resources I’m offering are right for you? I’ve gotten a lot of emails from people over the last day asking variations on the same four questions, I even answered some in last night’s Ask Jae live Q&A call (you can catch the replay here).

I bet you have one or more of these questions as well:

I’m too injured to run at all now. Shouldn’t I wait till I can run again before using any of your training materials?  Unless you have a broken bone, you don’t need to wait.

As a matter of fact, it always upsets me a little when people opt to wait till they’re better to work with me because it’s a little like saying, “I’m so thirsty, shouldn’t I wait till I feel a little better to take a drink of water?”

If you’re too hurt to run right now, the very thing you need is help changing how you move so that you can recover and return to physical activity.

If you can’t run but can walk, the lessons we’ll do are also very applicable and will help you move in a more balanced way consistent with your anatomy, and you’ll begin to be able to take that into running as well.

I’m a beginner, not really a runner at all yet, will this work for me? Yes, absolutely! I recommend you start a very gradual, progressive training program such as Jeff Galloway offers for beginners on his website and use my training to learn to feel how to move well when you run. That combination will work very well for you.

Will this help my specific injury? I have never encountered a type of injury that doesn’t improve from doing this work except, as I said above, for bone fractures not yet healed.

Runners regularly come to me for help with plantar fasciitis, achilles tendon problems, metatarsal/forefoot pain, ankle pain, shin splints, calf problems, knee pain of all kinds, IT band syndrome, hip flexor problems, hamstring problems, piriformis syndrome, herniated lumbar discs, shoulder pain, arms tingling or going numb… there are probably others as well but those are the ones I’ve seen most frequently for the past 13 years.

Feel free to email me if you have a question about your specific situation, but I can tell you now my anwer will almost certainly be “Yes.”

Will there be much interaction in your Online Camps or will I just be listening to and watching recordings? There will be as much interaction as you want! I’m a teacher because I love teaching, and just sitting alone at my desk making recordings isn’t actually all that much fun for me, but working with you is.

If you take any version of the Online Camp you’ll tell me your story before the camp starts, and can ask me questions and discuss your experiences with the lessons in live video calls, in the private Facebook group, and by email too.

And if you want me to do a video analysis and consultation with you as part of the camp as well, you can do the VIP version.
