Learn to Run Barefoot
Transitioning from conventional running shoes to barefoot running or minimal footwear requires learning to run with a more lengthened posture and a forefoot strike. It also involves "waking up" your feet -- learning to use all the joints, muscles and ligaments fully.
We've been helping runners transition to less footwear and get rid of their orthotics for as long as we've been in business, safely and healthily. We believe this transition is good for every runner, not just the ones "blessed with perfect structure," as some doctors insist. If you want to wear less technology underfoot and/or want to go all the way to bare, we'll get you there.
Start by calling 646-256-4414 x2 or emailing scheduling@balancedrunner.com to schedule a one-on-one session. We'll evaluate your form, help you understand what changes you need to make, and outline a plan to help you make them.
